0,99€ is the result of more than two years of fieldwork photographing street markets and their social spaces.

I am fascinated by the culture of hard work inherent in stallholders and fairground traders, who strive generation after generation to uphold the dignity of their trade. This is therefore a tribute to their perseverance, dedication and passion for their work.

I am interested in connecting with these people and their immediate surroundings through sincere, honest photography: glimpses of what we find before and after frenetic commercial activity.
