Premium Heavyweight Matte Paper
Canvas print details: our premium matte paper is 10 mil thick and weighs 192 g/m². This is a bright white paper with high opacity. It produces rich blacks and vivid colours while retaining a vintage look. Its matte finish keeps reflections to a minimum.
Our materials are subject to change.
Caring for prints on premium matte paper
The printed surface of Premium Matte Paper is relatively durable and resistant to fingerprints and moisture. The ink is not water-soluble. Nevertheless, handle these prints carefully, as areas of deep black can be susceptible to scratching. This effect, subtly visible when the print is lying flat, is less noticeable when it is displayed on a wall.
For maximum longevity, we recommend framing with UV-protective glass or acrylic and avoiding direct sunlight.
IMPORTANT: page specifications for prints on premium matte paper
Images printed on paper will be smaller than the specified paper size. The paper will have an unprinted white border of between 0.5 and 2 inches to help with handling and framing. The image will be printed as large as possible within the selected size while leaving this small border. Images have different aspect ratios, so their shapes may vary.

Our digital printing process
Our images are produced from high-resolution digital scans and printed using archival-quality inks on a range of substrates, including canvas, fine art paper and photographic paper. Using a professional 12-colour inkjet printer, this process is designed to deliver a broad, vivid colour gamut and archival longevity of more than 100 years under gallery conditions. It offers greater colour accuracy than other reproduction methods, with a quality that rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes. This process produces the same type of prints commonly found in museums, art galleries and photography galleries.
