Juan Brenner's FERVOR is a visually arresting photobook that examines the enduring relationship between spirituality, tradition, and identity in Guatemala. Rooted in the rituals surrounding the folk saint San Simón, the work explores a world where ancestral beliefs and contemporary life exist side by side.

Blending documentary observation with a refined visual language, Brenner creates photographs that are both intimate and symbolic. His images move fluidly between portraits, ceremonies, and landscapes, revealing the richness of a culture shaped by faith, history, and resilience.

Carefully edited and beautifully produced, FERVOR is an immersive photographic journey that invites readers to reflect on the complexity of belief and cultural heritage. It stands as a remarkable example of contemporary documentary photography, balancing visual elegance with profound human insight.
