Undoubtedly one of Robert Doisneau's rarest and most sought-after books. Doisneau himself had worked at the Renault factory, a job from which he was dismissed for habitually arriving late. Published by Hazan in 1988, this book benefited from Xavier Barral's expertise in designing the layout. It was presented in a red metal slipcase, secured with screws and bearing the logo that adorned the front grilles of the French manufacturer's cars at the time.
