The photobook Free Jazz arises as a continuation of his previous work, published in 2018, under the title Don't look at me, where Ferris expresses the sensations he experienced during an assault on his home by five armed men. This is a book in which the author celebrates life after surviving this traumatic life episode.

Inside, a compilation of photographs taken with an iPhone phone in France, Spain, the United States and Venezuela during the period between 2010 and 2020. A combination of landscapes, portraits, still lifes, advertisements, photographs of their daily lives... randomly ordered with the help of artificial intelligence, with the aim of breaking with the usual linear narrative that we can find in photobooks. Very consistent with the musical style of free jazz of the sixties, based on free interpretation, improvisation, spontaneous creation and development of rhythmic tonalities. Each copy is unique, given that it has been packaged differently and can be enjoyed along with a soundtrack created by Abraham Araujo expressly for the book, by scanning a QR code found on the back of the cover. And, in the special version, a vinyl record with the soundtrack is also included.
