These are self-sufficient communities where every member contributes their skills and abilities for the common good. Living in harmony with nature, they grow their own food, generate their own sustainable energy, and rely on barter as a means of exchange.
These are people who chose to step away from society’s conventions in order to build a life more closely aligned with their values and beliefs.
Through her lens, Elisenda Pons brings us closer to these distant microcosms that exist just a few hundred kilometres away.
