This is the first reprint of the 1960 Association of Dance Experience, Tatsumi Hijikata featuring the butoh work of Tatsumi Hijikata. Also included is a facsimile edition of the 1961 The Dance Experience 2 which also documents the work of Tatsumi Hijikata. The books contain numerous photographs by Eikoh Hosoe of Kazuo Ohno, Yukio Mishima and Tatsumi Hijikata.
