One way of inhabiting a place is through its landscape. The red bus shelters are gradually being replaced by new, straight-lined structures in brushed aluminum. We are constantly changing. To document is to capture a fleeting moment in time, to preserve a way of life that will soon become something else.

Photography does more than reveal who we are and where we come from. It intertwines practice, lived experience, and reflection on the image, on visual language, and on ourselves. To discover what lies before us is also a way of discovering who we are, and there is something deeply compelling in the idea that this can be achieved simply by pausing the landscape.
