Years ago, Pilar Silvestre suffered a bout of stress that left her with memory loss and disorientation, which led her to be housebound for seven long years. She also wasn't responding adequately to the medication her doctor had prescribed, so her doctor suggested she try some activity. It was the year Fujifilm launched its X series, and Pilar decided to give photography a try, so she got a Fujifilm X-Pro. When she began to feel capable of leaving the house and as she had been a water polo player before suffering the stress outbreak, she thought that swimming pools were in a way her home and that these could be a good start... Pilar's quality and story reached the ears of Fujifilm who became interested in publishing this project, which was never on sale in specialized bookstores, only a few copies signed by Pilar Silvestre at the swimming pools where the photographs were taken were sold on the day of the presentation and the rest were destined for Fujifilm's commercial commitments.
