The title Guiones, meaning “scripts” in English, takes its inspiration from Toral's creative process. He begins with a script and transforms it into a performance that can only be experienced through the lens of the camera recording it. Muse photographed the performance and then printed the photographs by hand in a darkroom. These prints were scanned and reproduced on translucent rice paper for the book.

For the photographic installation at El Chico, Maureen displayed a collection of prints that formed the book Guiones. She also presented a series of test prints and different editions of the same image, each varying in lightness or darkness.
