...Through the optical axis of a lens as transparent as a cat's eye, in the extremely practical camera I carry, I capture with a slight movement of my fingertip the way I call out to the world, or the world calls out to me. In this sense, I continue circling through the city's labyrinth of streets and people. Being a street photographer who witnesses scenes, walks and searches intuitively also makes me feel a possible connection with hard-boiled fiction. That is because I frequently lose my way and become angry in the streets.
