This could be presented as a series of landscapes obtained by making serrated keys reveal the mountains that served as their models. Like fingerprints, iris textures or voice patterns, to name other security identification methods, these contours are unique, unrepeatable and private. They constitute the key's identity: a code on which security depends.
 
Yet the silhouette traces a rising and falling graph that speaks here neither of a patient's temperature nor of stock market movements, but of a particular landscape of security.
 
The images were made using keys as negatives, projected directly onto light-sensitive paper. These pure records acquire meaning as traces through their resemblance to the interspersed images: panoramic views of mountain ranges in which geographers and mountain lovers may recognise legendary massifs such as the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Rockies or the Himalayas.
