Senti Roman is a photographic novel by Nobuyoshi Araki, first published in Japan in 1981. It brings together his characteristic black-and-white photographs in a personal narrative that moves between portraits, Tokyo landscapes, railway stations and industrial buildings.

The book explores the relationship between the photographer and his subjects, drawing its narrative from his own life. Grain, contrast, spontaneous framing and the rhythm of the sequence turn the photographs into an intimate, cinematic experience. Personal memory, desire, urban life and visual ambiguity meet within its pages.

A distinctive work from Araki's early career, Senti Roman reveals the experimental possibilities of the photobook as a form of personal storytelling.
