Juanan Requena is an alchemist who loves light and words, but also stones, wood, string and paper. He is drawn to tearing and pasting, writing and crossing out, building and renewing, making and unmaking, endlessly weaving paths in a perpetual search for the poetry of everyday life.
 
After many diaries and mock-ups, after mixing thousands of words and images, he presents Al borde de todo mapa, his first book.
 
Born in an arid village in La Mancha, Juanan became enchanted by horizons while building huts among cornfields. After beautiful failures and constant wanderings, he moved to the southern sea, learning about hendecasyllables and flamenco laments while selling books and serving coffee. He became a traveller, wiring tours for bands without rock and roll and filling inexhaustible diaries. He kept wandering, covered in sea salt and doubt, until he became convinced that vision and poetry could share the same incandescence: a struggle he still tirelessly attempts to reflect.
