In 2010 I bought a Polaroid camera with 600-series film to take on my honeymoon... It was wonderful to have the instant photography we all grew up with, remembering how, as a family, we covered the fridge with Polaroid pictures.
 
 
 
This planted the seed of an idea: to photograph the British coast on Polaroid. I got hold of an SX70 and the last boxes of Polaroid film and set off.
 
 
 
For the first time in a long while, people would smile at me instead of giving me the usual angry look when I pointed a camera at them. People would stop and talk about what I was doing.
