Benjo / Toilet (in English) is the first issue published by the irreverent group of artists behind Geribara 5. The other three issues in this series are Bathing Beauties and Five Girls. Geribara 5 was formed after the dissolution of the transgressive Provoke and consists of artists Yoshio Takase, Ikeda Fukuo, Nobuyoshi Araki, Yaehata Koji, and Morisawa Masmitsu. Geribara roughly translates to "diarrhea." In this issue, Araki compiles photographs of filthy bathrooms, explicit graffiti by users, and captures the sordid atmosphere and what goes on in Tokyo's public restrooms.
