1st edition 1st printing of Nadia by japanese photographer Hajime Sawatari. Considered one of the most important photobooks of Japanese photography, it was included in Ivan Vartanian and Ryuichi Kaneko's reference guide "Japanese Photobooks of the 1960s and 70s" page 174.

Nadia was an Italian fashion model called Nadia Gulli.

Sawatari photographed her extensively in black and white around Japan, including Karuizawa, and in Italy, notably Venice, while they were in a romantic relationship. The photobook, released in 1973, is considered a key work of postwar Japanese photography.
