Publishing the initial sketches of an architectural work can be interesting.

When a task is entrusted to me, I usually put it away in my memory, that is, I don't allow myself to make any sketches for months. The human mind is made in such a way that it possesses a certain independence: it's a box into which the elements of a problem can be poured haphazardly. We then let it "float," "simmer," "ferment."

Then one day, a spontaneous initiative from one's inner being, a trigger, occurs; we take a pencil, a charcoal pencil, some colored pencils (color is the key to the process) and we give birth to it on paper: the idea emerges—the child emerges, it has come into the world, it is born.
