Uwajima is the first photobook by Japanese photographer and rare-book dealer Hiroshi Masaki, born in 1949. All the black-and-white photographs in this collection were taken between 2008 and 2010 in the artist's hometown of Uwajima. Recalling the visual language of New Topographics, they depict the city's streets and buildings without people.
